I’m very grateful for all the support and encouragement I’ve received over the last few months.  Creating this video is a way for me to give back a bit. It is dedicated to anyone who wants rep their heritage, interests, and style in a bold way. Note: After just a few days this video and a my Psycho-Killer Whale shoes were featured at the Vans Blog and on the Vans Fanpage, where they got a large number of postive responses (almost 900 “likes” and 90 comments).

Louie,
This is an absolutely the best!  My sister-in-law teaches art at high school…I will show her this and perhaps she do a class project…teens would love it!
I love the music…is the picture in the background one of yours?  You have such a wonderful presence…I hope to meet you one day!  I can see you thirty years from now as an Elder sharing your knowledge.

I generally wear flip-flops on a day-to-day basis. (Of course I have dressy-work shoes for work). Since cold weather is here, I’m looking for some shoes that will keep me warmer than flip-flops! I want to find something casual, really comfy, and that isn’t a high-heel. So far I’m having no luck as it seems all shoes marketed for females are really uncomfortable.

Thanks for the lesson. Enjoyed hearing your talk at BAM as well. Loved the tip on erasing.  My shoes look much cleaner.  I didn’t use the recommended pens since this is my first time trying it on a pair of hand-me downs, but was pretty happy with the outcome. (Sharpies also bleed!)  Do you spray your shoes with anything to protect your art work?
